The Chinese New Year 2014 falls on Friday 31st of January, however this event will be celebrated by London’s Chinese Community this Sunday 2nd at 10 am with a parade through Trafalgar Square. This 2014 is the Year of Horse.
The parade will be followed by music performances, Chinese dragons and lions dances as well as acrobatics and firecrackers.
The second spot is on ChinaTown’s ‘Shaftesbury Avenue’ where many local performers are going to exhibit their talents. Stroll around ChinaTown, and admire the best of this fantastic culture: there will be plenty of street decorations, special menus and events over its hundreds restaurants.
